We collect limited technical information when you use this website, including pages viewed and approximate location derived from your IP address, in order to keep the site secure and understand which content is useful.
2. How we use it
To respond to your enquiry and to advise you on property, residency, investment and relocation matters. To introduce you, with your knowledge, to lawyers, tax advisers, surveyors, banks and managing agents relevant to your instructions.
To send you information you have asked for. We do not add enquirers to a marketing list without consent, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
3. Lawful basis
We rely on your consent where you have submitted an enquiry form, on the performance of a contract where we are acting for you, on our legitimate interests in operating an advisory practice, and on legal obligation where anti-money-laundering or tax rules apply.
4. Sharing
We share information with professional partners only where it is necessary to progress your instructions, and we tell you who they are. Some partners are located outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area; where that is the case we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer.
We may disclose information where required by law, regulation or a court of competent jurisdiction.
5. Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months from the last contact unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Where we have acted on a transaction, records are kept for the period required by applicable legal, tax and anti-money-laundering rules.
